KFTD is committed to ensuring that the institution is free from any form of bribery. This serious commitment is apparent from the formal guidelines created to prevent bribery or other forms of gratification.
Everyone in KFTD who has positions and authority is prohibited from receiving or directly or indirectly asking for gratification or gifts and entertainment from third parties in any form.
These prohibitions are stated clearly in the guidelines as follows:
- Prohibited to accept anything in any form from work partners, providers of goods and services as well as competing companies or partners.
- Prohibited to accept goods, parcels, money, or anything equivalent to money or in any form on religious holidays from third parties.
- Prohibited to allow work partners or third parties to provide anything in any form to Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Personnel or Kimia Farma Group Personnel.
- Prohibited to accept refunds and other personal benefits that exceed or are not their rights from any party in the context of official duties or matters that could cause a potential conflict of interest.
- Prohibited to act in a discriminatory or unfair manner to favor certain providers of goods or services, partners, or work partners to receive compensation for services for personal, family, and/or group interests.
Gratification affects independence, objectivity, and professionalism which are the reasons why it is strictly regulated. Violating the guidelines can result in a Legal Issue, therefore, parties involved in this criminal activity will be sanctioned.
These regulations are created to eliminate the possibility of Bribery. With its strict implementation of the Good Corporate Governance and Code of Conduct, Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD) will be able to eliminate the practice of gratification and bribery.
